To distinguish positions between schools with equal points, the following rules are implemented:  If any of the schools have incurred penalty points for non attendance, those points will be considered as having lesser value in the event of equal totals.  The school with the most wins will be considered as having more value in the event of equal totals. The same rule with be applied to the lower team positions in the event of first places not resolving the question.  If it is still not possible to separate the teams, the individual points collected by the highest placed runner in each of the 6 races will be compared.
